Rev. Mrs. Dele George and children of the Little Saints Orphanage Our beloved friends & Patrons, We rejoice in your generosity and love. Our prayers ascend to God daily on your behalf because you all are treasures to us and to God. Surely he will repay you for your kindness to his children because he is the father of the fatherless and a defender of the poor. The impact of your generosity on the welfare of the orphans in Lagos state is unprecedented in the history charitable endeavors in this part of Africa. God is delighted with you just as he is delighted with us. October 23rd 2005 made it exactly 12 years since the STRONG TOWER MISSION started. It is the ministry under which we run the little saints orphanages and the family relief centers. Biblically the number 12 is the number for service. To be given the opportunity to serve God by ministering to the poor and to the children for twelve good years is a great achievement. In spirit terms our probation period is over! The way I see it, if you can serve for twelve years without throwing in the towel, the job is yours! We are full in employment in God’s royal army. There is no going back now. We are increasing our pace. We are taking more grounds for God. The Little Saints House in Akowonjo must be fully inhabited by our Nigerian children who are still on the streets. Our three tie programme of rehabilitation, reformation and reinterogration must proceed with grater space! Our new branch in Ogudu has enough space for more girls. Our Abule-Egba branch is ready for habitation by more of our children with special needs. By the power of the spirit of LOVE, we call forth our suffering orphans, abused and abandoned children from the streets of Nigeria. We call them out of suffering and degradation into God’s abundance. God is their help and we are simply his vessels. We keep our dream of a greater Nigeria alive, a country devoid of street beggars, disabled destitute and street children. We pursue our dream of building rehabilitation centers with renewed passion. We have covered a lot of ground in our pursuits but the journey is still far. We are not discouraged or intimidated. The mandate will be completed by the power of God working in you and working in us. We thank God for the cooperation and commendation we are getting from the directors of the ministry of Youths, Sports and Social development, Lagos state, as well as from our honorable commissioner MR. BAMIDELE OPEYEMI. It’s been a glorious period of divine interaction that has led to positive changes and remarkable impact on our society. I do believe that in luck, chance or even coincidence. I believe only in divine appointment, divine arrangement, divine intervention and divine connection but divine intervention. It is not luck that ii is in this year of 12th anniversary that our patron Bro Femi Osibona gave a great house to the orphanage at a time when we were worried about our growing girls and boys living together in Akowonjo. This home has become a residence for our lovely young girls. That was a great birthday gift from God. We are eternally grateful. It is not by accident or chance but by divine arrangement that on the week of our 12th anniversary we received an award from the mothers of our nation THE COMMITTEE OF WIVES OF LAGOS STATE OFFICIALS (COWLSO) on the 21st of October. We were elated. It was God saying to us through our esteemed mothers to keep up the GODLY work! Our special thanks go to our Lagos state first lady CHIEF MRS OLUREMI TINUBU. It is no coincidence but divine appointment that our 12th anniversary is the same year as your humble servant’s (ME) golden jubilee year. On the 12th of year service we are proceeding with gold. I have every cause to be exceedingly glad and I am! I hope you are too!
