Vision of Strong Tower Mission

The Strong Tower Mission is a Christian charity Organization whose aims are:

(1) To care for the underprivileged in the society i.e. the poor, destitutes, widows, orphans and abandoned children in the society.

(2) To engage in charity work of all description and generally demonstrate the Love of God to all men irrespective of race, color or creed.

The above can only be achieved by the propagation and demonstration of the two-handed gospel- Bread in one hand and the Word of God in the other. Strong Tower's vision is to minister to the total man, SPIRIT, SOUL and BODY. Jesus ministered to the total man. Where there was a need, he met6 that need. We as his disciples are commanded to do likewise. He compels us to:

(1) Give our surplus to the poor (Luke 3:11)
(2) To provide them with food, clothes and shelter as much as we can. (James 2:15-8, Acts 2:45, Acts 4:34-35), Luke 3:11, Matt: 15; 32-39)
(3) To preach the Gospel to them (Luke 4:18, Matt. 11:5, Mark 16:15)
(4) To pray for them, encourage them and counsel them (2 Cor.8:1-7, Gal 2:10)

Our motivation is God's great desire that the poor should not feel forsaken and forgotten and forgotten by him. God is calling all disciples at this time in our nation to go back to the times of the early Church when the love of God manifested not through mere words but through sharing, giving and serving. The love of God for humanity can only be expressed through his people not only in words but also in deeds.

Statement Of Faith

The Bible

Is the infallible and authoritative word of God, it is God-breathed and without error. It is useful for teaching, correcting and training men and women for God's purposes.

God The Father

Is the Creator of heaven and earth and the substainer of all things. There is but one God, infinite, eternal, and perfect in holiness, truth and love.

God The Son, Jesus

Was supernaturally conceived by the Holy Sprit born of the Virgin Mary, and was perfect without sin. He became the sacrifice for sin of all mankind through his death on the cross. He rose from the dead in his own glorified body, appeared to many, ascended into Heaven, and is sitting now at the right hand of God the Father. He will come again to unite the earth in power and glory for his church which is his body.

God The Holy Spirit

Has all the divine attributes and characteristics of the other persons of trinity. Convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgement, unites men and women to Jesus Christ in faith. Brings about new birth and dwells within the believers, enabling them to grow in sanctification. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to all who believe in Jesus Christ. The gifts of the Holy Sprit (word of knowledge, wisdom, faith, healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discernment of Sprits, tongues and interpretation of tongues) are available to them who believe through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Salvation

Is the gift of God through Grace and it is by faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other name in heaven nor on earth by which men and women can be reconciled with God and saved from eternal damnation except through the name of Jesus Christ.

The Church

Is the body and bride of Jesus Christ, whose task is to take the Gospel to all people in all nations, to make disciples of them, to care, to demonstrate the same love and the power that Jesus Christ demonstrated when he walked the earth. All who have been reborn into the kingdom of God are part of his body. Every one has a function to perform.

This is Strong Tower Mission Headquaters, (Palmgrove office complex) presently located at 6B Dalberto Road, Palmgrove Estate, Palmgrove, Lagos, donated for use, by Capt. & Rev. Mrs. George for the Mission’s use, until such a time the headquarters can have its own building in Lagos city. At the moment, this building is highly strategic for the Mission’s operations.
